About
SeongHan Kim serves as the Mennonite Central Committee’s Representative for Northeast Asia, based in Chuncheon, South Korea. He holds a PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where his dissertation explored the rise of Christian Nationalism in Korea during the 1960s–1980s. His research centers on reconciliation as the mission of God, and he brings this theological vision into practice through peacebuilding and leadership development across the region. As part of his role as an MCC Peace Educator, he teaches Christian Nonviolence & Pacifism and Foundations for Peace & Justice. He is the author of Failed Politics of John Howard Yoder (실패한 요더의 정치학, IVP, 2020). He is still practicing coffee making as peacemaking.
