Having grown up in rural Portugal, Dr. Emily Lange now lives in Bonn, Germany, working for the greater good of societies at PIRON Global Development, a faith-based consultancy specializing in international development cooperation. PIRON advises and supports several faith-based NGOs in strategy and organization development, diplomacy, resource mobilization, leadership, and team building.

As an interdisciplinary researcher and contemplative scholar, Emily often likes to carve out space from her day job for deep discernment and reflection, which is what brings her to Regent College for the 2026 Winter Season.
