About

Having grown up in rural Portugal, Dr. Emily Lange now lives in Bonn, Germany,
working for the greater good of societies at PIRON Global Development, a faith-
based consultancy specialised in international development cooperation. PIRON
advises and supports several faith-based NGO in strategy and organisation
development, diplomacy, resource mobilisation, leadership and team building.
As an interdisciplinary researcher and contemplative scholar, Emily often likes to
carve out space from her day job for deep discernment and reflection, which is what
brings her to Regent College for the 2026 Winter Season.
