Davinson Bohorquez
About
Davinson is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He earned a MATS in New Testament Studies from Regent College in 2021 and completed a ThM there in 2022. His thesis focused on developing a literary framework for interpreting the contentious passage of Matthew 25:31–46, commonly known as the “parable of the sheep and the goats.” Davinson enjoys teaching Koine Greek, both as an academic discipline and as a tool for spiritual formation. His research interests include the Gospel of Matthew, Koine Greek, discourse analysis, and biblical theology.
Davinson and his wife, Halyna, are both immigrants to Canada—Davinson from Colombia and Halyna from Ukraine. They have two young children, Eva Beth and Eli Benjamin.
