OT Book Study: Joshua
Course Description
The book of Joshua is popularly known as a book about victory, but a closer reading reveals another vital theme: obedience to the covenant. A careful reading also may raise for the reader theological and ethical issues related to violence, racism, and elitism. Interpret the book of Joshua within its literary, historical, and canonical contexts. Unveil meaning, and deal with the thorny issues; get equipped to read Joshua (and all of Scripture) in a richer, more responsible way.Offered | 2026 Winter |
