Grappling with Galatians

Please note: We have reached capacity in the largest venue available for this course and the waitlist significantly exceeds the number of seats. As a result, we strongly recommend registration in another course instead.

Engage in what is arguably Paul’s earliest letter—as explosive today as when he wrote it. Galatians has always been at the centre of debates, whether they focus on justification, the Law, a Christian view of Israel’s scriptures, public life, or ethics. It's a compact, allusive, almost telegraphic epistle, and we need to grapple with it in detail if its message is to emerge afresh in our own lives and communities.

Special Note: Assignments for this course will be marked by Sven Soderlund, Professor Emeritus in Biblical Studies
