Course Description

로마서 주해를 통해 복음에 대한 바울의 설명을 연구합니다. 로마서의 문학적 구조, 신학적 주제와 더불어 어떻게 로마서가 교회에 여전히 의미있는지 탐구합니다. 이를 위해 그리스-로마와 유대교 배경에 특별한 주의를 기울이며 역사적, 문학적/수사적 맥락들을 살펴볼 것입니다.

An exegetical study of Paul’s exposition of the gospel, with particular attention to its literary structure, its theological themes, and its continuing significance for the Christian church. The historical and literary/rhetorical contexts will be explored with special attention to the Greco-Roman and Jewish environments. 

Live Online and Recorded: This course is being offered online with live class sessions in Summer 2021. If you are not able to attend the live online classes because of time zone differences, be aware that recordings of each class will also be made available on the course Moodle site until Midnight PDT on the second Saturday after the course.
