Graduate Studies

Regent offers six distinct graduate programs designed to meet different goals, interests, and needs. 

Our graduate programs, taught by world-class faculty, are designed to give you a thorough understanding of Christian theology, Scripture, and history. Each of our programs is tailored to provide the right balance of rigorous academic training and personal engagement, preparing you for thoughtful integration of faith and life in the church, the marketplace, and the academy.

Our programs reflect the different needs of our students:

Master of Arts in Theological Studies

(MATS): master a chosen subject through specialized study rooted in a deep, broad, and nuanced understanding of Scripture, theology, and history.

MA in Christian Studies

(MACS): lay a biblical, theological, and historical foundation for comprehensive integration of faith and life.

Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies

(GradDipCS): sample courses from our core curriculum, lay the groundwork for a biblical perspective, and experience the rewards of theological education for the whole people of God.

Master of Divinity

(MDiv): prepare for wise service rooted in a deep understanding of Scripture, theology, and the history of God’s people.

Master of Arts in Leadership, Theology, and Society

(MALTS): combine practical leadership training, theological insight, and cultural analysis in this low-residency program.

Master of Theology

(ThM): build on previous graduate work as you prepare for an academic vocation or round out your MDiv with focused study.
