John G. Stackhouse, Jr.
Dr. Stackhouse’s commentary has been featured by major North American television networks, many radio stations, and print media as diverse as The New York Times, The Times Literary Supplement, The Atlantic, Time, and Reader’s Digest. He serves as an advisory editor at Christianity Today, a contributing editor at Books & Culture, a columnist for Faith Today, and a blogger for The National Post. He has given lectures at leading universities, including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Edinburgh, and Fudan, as well as at institutions as varied as Seoul Theological University, the Elijah Institute in Jerusalem, Tyndale House in Cambridge, Brigham Young University, and the ACTS Institute in Bangalore. A jazz musician, he sometimes plays piano, electric bass, trumpet, or guitar for Regent events. He was also a right winger on the Regent College hockey team that lost the UBC intramural championship on a dreadful referee’s mistake.
