Alumnus Dr. Stephen Andrews Appointed Principal of Wycliffe College

We are very pleased to congratulate Dr. Stephen Andrews on his appointment as the 10th Principal of Wycliffe College in Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Andrews earned a Diploma in Christian Studies at Regent College in 1981, going on to obtain a Master of Divinity at Wycliffe College and a PhD at Cambridge University. He has faithfully served both the church and the academy over the course of his career, most recently in his role as Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Algoma.

On learning of the appointment, Regent College President Jeff Greenman observed: “I am delighted by Stephen Andrews' appointment at Wycliffe College. He is an exemplary evangelical scholar-pastor with a global vision of God's work in the world. I look forward to collaborating with him as Regent and Wycliffe share a common pursuit of biblically rooted, deeply transformative theological education in Canada.“

Regent College Academic Dean Paul Spilsbury also noted his delight, commenting: “Dr. Andrews has established himself as an outstanding leader in the Canadian church, known for his pastoral integrity and deep theological wisdom. He will be a great blessing to Wycliffe College.”
