David Skeel is S. Samuel Arsht Professor of Corporate Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is the author of numerous books including True Paradox: How Christianity Makes Sense of Our Complex WorldThe New Financial Deal: Understanding the Dodd-Frank Act and Its (Unintended) ConsequencesIcarus in the Boardroom: The Fundamental Flaws in Corporate America and Where They Came From and has written many articles on bankruptcy, corporate law, financial regulation, Christianity and law, and other topics. He has been interviewed on Nightline, National Public Radio, and has written commentaries for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Books & Culture, The Weekly Standard, and other publications.
