Theran Knighton-Fitt explores the power of the imagination in the intersection of human relationships in his Integrative Project in the Arts and Theology (IPIAT).

Souls That Balance is Knighton-Fitt's debut dramatic short film, having previously created several visual poems, documentaries, and promotional pieces as a professional videographer. Theran's IPIAT builds on his previous academic work on the primary role of the imagination in what it means to be human, and completes the requirements for his Master of the Arts in Theological Studies.

Theran Knighton-Fitt was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa and currently lives in Vancouver, Canada, with his wife, Debbie, and their son, Clayden. Theran is an interdisciplinary artist with a theological motivation for shaping creation into something new. Before Regent, Theran was trained as a clothing designer. He started an artisan clothing line called LateKnight while working full time as a musician, touring throughout Southern Africa and Europe. From 2007 to 2010, he worked as a pastor. During this time, Theran brought an aesthetic sensibility to the pastorate. His first book, re:thingk, was published shortly before coming to Canada to further his education at Regent College.
