Ontario: Gardens, Groceries & Grace: A Weekend of Edible Theology
This event has now ended. Please view this page to see all our upcoming events.
What do our “food lives” have to say about our Christian lives? At this workshop—led by Jeffrey and Janet Greenman and hosted by Chris and Jean Houston on their beautiful farm outside Toronto—engage both mind and senses in constructing a lived theology of food.
Over the weekend, you will interact with a number of presentations and spend time together in worship and fellowship. In between those more traditional workshop activities, you’ll also get your hands dirty doing light work on the farm, preparing meals, and—perhaps most importantly—feasting together.
Join us as we consider the ways that food relates to our role as stewards of creation and our encounter with God’s grace.
