Join us as Carolyn Watts presents her Integrative Project in Arts and Theology, Blood In My Birkenstocks: An Obstetrician’s Story of Carrying Jesus. The event will take place Thursday, April 6, at Regent College, room 10.

Carolyn's IPIAT presentation will explore the biblical and theological significance of human birth. In Scripture, God reveals God’s self in all the different roles in the obstetrical drama: as mother, father, husband, midwife, even baby whom we, along with Mary, are graced to carry. In this IPIAT presentation, you’ll glimpse that grand obstetrical drama weaving through a story of life and work in Afghanistan, a story of illness and grace and learning to live gently.
