Introduction to the Trust
From the first days of the College, the community at Regent was influenced by faculty, visiting lecturers and students who were drawn from the United Kingdom. In the four decades since, the connection between the College and individuals from the UK remains strong. As a result, in the late ’90s, the ever growing group of alumni and Regent friends provided the encouragement and support for the establishment of the Friends of Regent College Canada Trust. The shared benefit of this action is the reduction of the tax burden of donors and additional financial resources for the work and mission of Regent College.

Over 30 years ago, a group of business people had a vision that saw
men and women from varied vocations and diverse geographic locations
equipped to bring faith and work together to impact the world and further
God’s kingdom. The product of that vision was Regent College
in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
