OVERVIEW

The Response

Our Board of Governors has devoted more than three years to researching options, conducting comprehensive studies, and prayerfully deliberating the way ahead. The Writing the Next Chapter Capital Campaign is their unanimous response to the current and projected needs of Regent College.

The $14.5 million library, classroom and information technology project is neither extravagant nor short-sighted. Rather, it is a carefully considered plan and a prudent investment of funds. The costs break down as follows:

The new library:

$9.3 million

New classrooms and student
services area:

$3.1 million

Updated information technology

$1.2 million

Project and campaign costs:

$0.9 million

TOTAL:

$14.5 million

Fully 100% of Regent’s Board of Governors, Regent College Foundation USA Trustees and Regent Faculty have demonstrated their belief in this next chapter of Regent’s story by financially supporting the project.

Charitable foundations and large benefactors have also voiced their approval and lent their generous support.

Through such generous support, we are able to announce the successful completion of the capital campaign. Because of our supporters, partners, and donors, we not only met the $14.5 million goal, but exceeded it. Through additional gifts, we raised $14.85 million that will fund additional campaign-related projects that were initially dropped to keep costs within the campaign target.
