Corey Janz MATS '17 As a musician, learning about the interaction between my faith and the arts is vitally important. Learning about this interaction not only affirms the artistic aspects so intrinsic to me as an image-bearer of the Creator; it also encourages me to responsibly steward them in service of the church. Regent offers a unique space to explore these topics: rather than cloistering my education within a singular denomination, or within a body of artists comprised exclusively of musicians, I am learning from a multiplicity of traditions alongside students trained across the spectrum of artistic mediums—all within the invaluable overarching atmosphere of rigorous theological scholarship.
