It facilitated a generative wrestling with a variety of interests—tradition, innovation, mystery, the sacramental—that changed the way I viewed both the world and poetry. My poetics changed, as did my life. And when I began my MFA a few years after graduating, I found I was better prepared to do so. I remain grateful for Regent’s vibrant community of learning.
