Session 1: Secularism and “The Abolition of Man”
In 1955, C.S.Lewis told Dr. Houston the most important message he had given in all his Christian books was found in “The Abolition of Man”. In this first session we shall consider Lewis’s book, and whether the process of de-humanisation has deteriorated even further since then.
Session 3: The Challenge of a “Relational Reformation” of the Church Today
Many now see Western Civilization in irrevocable decline. This session will address such questions as, How is this decline related to human decadence? How can Christians contribute towards relational health for our society if we do not have it among ourselves? How does “theological education” contribute positively or negatively?
