Leading Well: Taking on Bigger Leadership Responsibilities
You are being thrust into leading a new project. You want to step up to take on bigger leadership responsibilities. You may be thinking through the type of leader you will be. This course will enable you to do that with confidence and sensitivity. It will develop your thinking about stepping up to lead well in a variety of settings. It will encourage you to "wake up and dream" about what might be possible.
The course will be interactive, with some sections taught in workshop style. It will draw from the biblical narrative, including observations of how Jesus led; from the current experiences of Christian leaders; and from the experiences of course participants. The instructor will aim to have a one-to-one coaching conversation with each participant who is doing the course for credit. At the end of the course, you will end up with a plan for your next steps in leading well.
Note: This course runs 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm on Monday to Thursday, January 4 - 7, and then 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm on Friday, January 8.
