In Memoriam
As part of our ongoing commitment to connect and respect the
wider Regent community, namely our Alumni, we have developed this
page called IN MEMORIAM.
Recognizing that the experience of grief and loss takes its own
time for each individual, we humbly offer this page in honour
of our dear friends, and hope that in doing so we also encourage
ongoing prayer and remembrance for their families.
If you are part of the Regent community and would like to have
a memorial included here, please contact Sharon
Forsyth in Alumni Relations.

MATT
SWANSON
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Matt
Swanson. Matt went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 7, 2004,
after a year-long struggle with cancer. He was 32. As well as
being a student of Regent from 1998-2003, both Matt and his wife
Renee worked in various capacities at the College during their
time with us. Matt graduated from the MDiv program in 2003, then
went to work as chaplain at Geneva College, PA, until his passing.
Matt, Renee and their young two boys, Jacob and Simon, were good
friends to many in the Regent community and his loss is deeply
felt. But as Renee wrote to us, "Our dear Matt is finally
and truly cancer-free." Read
