Who can take courses at Regent?

Students with a bachelor's degree may take courses for graduate credit or may audit courses. Those who have not yet been admitted to the College may take up to 6 credit hours of courses per term as Unclassified Students, up to a maximum of 12 credit hours, before needing to be admitted. Those who do not have an accredited bachelor's degree may take most courses for audit if they are at least 23 years of age, and may take courses for credit if they are at least 30 years of age. Students who have already been admitted to the Certificate of Christian Studies program (now discontinued) may take courses at the CCS level.

When are courses held?

All evening courses are held from 6:30–9:30pm at Regent College and run from January 14–April 18, 2008. No classes will be held February 11–15, 2008 and March 17–21, 2008 (Reading Weeks). See the Evening School page for more details.

Weekend courses are Fridays, 6:30–9:30pm and Saturdays, 9:00am–5:00pm unless otherwise indicated. Dates are mentioned on the Weekend School page.

Course outlines can be viewed on the website, or at reception and the library at the College, or received at the first day of class.

How do I register for an After Hours course?

You may obtain a registration form by downloading the Winter 2008 Registration Form (pdf document).

In order to register, students must submit a completed Registration Form together with a $150 deposit to the Registration Office. Students are strongly advised to register by the Early Registration Deadline, Friday, December 14, 2007, to increase the chance of getting the courses they want, though forms will be accepted up to Friday, January 11, 2008.

All fees are in Canadian funds:

  • Registration fee (non-refundable): $35
  • Tuition fee per credit hour: $446
  • Tuition fee per audit hour: $260

*Note for weekend school: Complimentary coffee and refreshments will be served on Saturdays during class breaks. Lunch will not be provided.

Other fees may apply. Please check the registration form for more details.
