News & Updates - Stan Grenz Passes Away

1950 - 2005

Dr. Stanley J. Grenz, Pioneer McDonald Professor of Theology at Carey Theological College and a frequent teacher at Regent, died early Saturday morning, March 12, 2005, as a result of a massive brain hemorrhage.  His sudden passing is a devestating loss to his family, friends and colleagues. We ask that you please keep them in prayer during this extremely difficult time.

A Memorial Service for Stan was held on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Vancouver. Stan's website hopes to have a video of the memorial up at some point. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate it if donations were directed to Carey Theological College or The Institute for Worship Studies, Florida Campus.
