SEPTEMBER 29, 2007 - Regent College officially opened its new library and renovated classroom, office and public space on a Come and See Open House Celebration the weekend of September 29, 2007. The weekend included presentations from the architects and artists who contributed to the project's building and design features, lectures by Regent faculty to give a sampling of their teaching, and a lecture entitled One Person's Harvest from Regent by Eugene Peterson. Guests had plenty of opportunity to mingle with old friends and new, to explore the new and renewed premises, and to enjoy the day's entertainment, food and fellowship.
In addition to the Open House, many donors to the Writing the Next Chapter capital campaign attended an evening of thanksgiving on the Saturday evening and a worship service on Sunday morning, where the weekend of celebration was capped with thanks and honour to the God who has provided so generously for his people at Regent College.
We are delighted that so many hundreds of our friends and supporters were in attendance, and welcome you to visit the College when you are in the area to see our improved facility for yourself.
