PLEASE NOTE: Travel During the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games
From February 12–28 and March 12–21 Vancouver will play host to the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. As Regent College is just a few blocks from one of the major venues (UBC Thunderbird Arena) there will be road closures and changes in traffic and transit patterns. For maps and details on these changes please see the UBC 2010 website.

From February 12-28, on UBC Olympic event days Regent is joining up with other organizations to present More Thank Gold events at the College. See our event page for more details.
Parking at Regent During the Games
Regent College will have event parking available during the games. Parking will be $20 per day (7:30am to 5pm) and $10 for evenings (5pm to 10pm). No overnight parking is allowed.
Three spots with strict 15 minute limits will be reserved for Bookstore Customers, along with 15 spots along the hedge for staff and faculty.
Access to our parking lot during the Games will be via Westbrook/University and Westbrook/Chancellor.

DIRECTIONS TO REGENT COLLEGE

From the Airport by Car:
- Leaving the airport, head towards Vancouver.
- As you drive over
the Arthur Laing Bridge, stay in the right hand lane.
- Take the
Granville Street exit. (if you take the S.W. Marine Drive
E. exit turn around asap)
- On Granville Street head North, stay in
the left hand lane.
- Take the second possible left (second set
of lights) onto S.W. Marine Drive W.
- Stay on S.W. Marine Drive
W. until you get to 16th Avenue.
- Take a right onto 16th Avenue.
- At Wesbrook Mall (not actually
a mall, it’s a street name) Gate
10 take a left.

From the Airport by Train (Canada Line):
Vancouver's transit system now offers rapid transit train service from the airport to downtown on the Canada Line. Travellers to Regent College can get off the train at a number of stations along the way where buses will take you directly to the UBC Campus and (almost) to the College doorstep. Directions
from the US – Canada Border:
- After leaving Customs at
Peace Portal Arch, head North on #99.
- Stay on the #99 going
through the Massey tunnel and going over the Oak Street bridge.
- Turn
left onto 41st Ave. It will turn into S.W. Marine Drive,
stay to the right.
- Stay on S.W. Marine Drive W. until you get to 16th
Ave.
- Take a right onto 16th Ave.
- At Wesbrook Mall (Gate 10) take a
left.
Regent College is located at the corner of Wesbrook Mall and
University Blvd.
Directions from the TransCanada Highway #1:
- Head West along TransCanada
Highway #1.
- Exit onto the Grandview Highway.
- Stay on the Grandview Hwy. Heading
West. It will become 12th Ave. and eventually 10th Ave.
- Stay on
10th Ave. until you get to UBC when 10th turns into University
Blvd.
Regent College is located at 5800 University Blvd.
From Downtown:
- Take Burrard Street South.
- Turn right on West 4th Ave.
- Turn left on Wesbrook Mall.
We are on the corner of Wesbrook Mall and University Blvd.
PARKING INFORMATION
Regent College has a small parking lot for staff and faculty use. There are also a very limited number of short-term parking for College visitors and Bookstore patrons. However, since we are on the University of British Columbia campus there is plenty of parking close by.
