In addition to being the Sangwoo Youtong Chee Professor of Theology and Culture at Regent, John Stackhouse is also Adjunct Professor in the Department of Classical, Near Eastern, and Religious Studies at the University of British Columbia. John researches and teaches about the interaction between Christianity and contemporary North American culture. An advising editor at Christianity Today and contributing editor at Books & Culture magazines, he is the author of several hundred articles, book chapters, and reviews in the history, sociology, and philosophy of religion and in theology. He has edited four books and is the author of six books, including those listed below. John’s commentary has been sought by most North American television networks, many radio stations, and numerous print media in both Canada and the US. John is married to Kari, a physiotherapist, and they have three sons.
