Sven Soderlund has been on the faculty of Regent College for 27 years (13 years as Dean of Students) and in the course of time has taught Greek and Hebrew, Old Testament Prophets, Luke-Acts, Pauline Letters and Hebrews. Sven’s academic studies have been enriched by several overseas ministry experiences in Europe and Latin America, as well as visits to biblical sites associated with the travels of Paul in Asia Minor (modern Turkey) and Greece. He has a heart for the integration of biblical scholarship and biblical spirituality in both the church and the academy. Sven’s current research interest lies in exploring the planting and development of the Pauline churches, together with implications for evangelism and church life in our neo-pagan, post-Christian twenty-first century. He is married and has three grown daughters, one of whom is also a graduate of Regent.
