How Can Art Change the World?
Faculty Roundtable is a time to get to know members of the teaching team at Regent College—full-time faculty, visiting professors, and friends.
This week's discussion features Dr. Adrienne Dengerink Chaplin, Dr. Mary Noll Venables, and Dr. Malcolm Guite on the transformative potential of art. The event will be hosted by Dr. Paul Spilsbury, Academic Dean of Regent College.
Dr. Adrienne Dengerink Chaplin is a Teaching Fellow in Religion, Philosophy and the Arts at the University of London. She is teaching Spirituality and Religion in Contemporary Art at Regent College this summer. Dr. Mary Noll Venables is an independent scholar and historian of early modern Europe. She is co-teaching The Reformation: Then & Now, from Above & Below. Dr. Malcolm Guite is the Chaplain of Girton College, Cambridge, and teaches for the Cambridge Divinity Faculty. He is teaching A Passion for Poetry.
You are invited to bring your lunch and join us in Room 100 for a lively discussion.
