Abbey Summer School in Scotland

Regent graduates and professors are hosting a new venture in Scotland: The Abbey Summer School. It's something between a conference and a festival (with a little bit of think-tank thrown in).
Join them July 23–25, 2015 for integrated learning, featuring keynote talks, workshops (on prayer, scripture, & art), community meals, and worship, culminating with a pilgrimage to Dryburgh Abbey. This year's speakers include Julie Canlis (DipCS 1998, MCS 2000), James Houston, and Jeremy Begbie.
"The focus of this summer’s school," says Julie Canlis, "is on the doctrine of the Trinity and its implications for our daily living and growth in Christ. Our keynote speaker (and Regent regular) Jeremy Begbie will give three addresses on the Trinity, with others teaching on prayer, the Old Testament, counselling and community life, and other themes to draw us more deeply into trinitarian life. For those interested in exploring art and the Trinity, we will offer an entire (optional) afternoon on Friday with artist Carol Marples. And, of course, we will close with pilgrimage and communion at Dryburgh Abbey. It is these components of prayer, spiritual listening, practical practices, pilgrimage, art, and food (did I mention a wine tasting too?) which make our theological summer school distinct."
